About Us

Who We Are and What We Do

Rose Pharmacy is owned by Rose Healthcare Ltd and contracts with the NHS to provide healthcare services. It was first opened for services on 24th November 2005, in Greenwich, London, by the founder Mr Amerjeet Mudan. We have a family culture amongst the staff that motivates an effective team with caring values. We have become an important part of the local community and continue to develop new healthcare services to improve the lives of our customers and community. Providing exceptional service is our top priority, with our customers at the forefront of everything we do.

Our team has embraced the new NHS long-term plan for primary care, which has encouraged the development of innovative healthcare services, with improved patient access and delivered by well-trained healthcare professionals. Our staff culture encourages continuous investment in staff development to meet the needs of the future.

We are experienced with dealing with Minor Ailment referrals from NHS111 and local GPs via the NHS Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS) and have had excellent feedback from patients. We aim to provide high-quality outcomes for chronic conditions, such as diabetes and cardiovascular health, and to support local communities in making informed health decisions.

Rose Pharmacy recognises the wider determinants of health and the impact of social and environmental factors, which requires a strong emphasis on helping people maintain their own health and well-being, with a focus on promoting Staying Well.

Our Responsibility

Workplace and team

We value the contribution of every single one of our employees and our goal is to make Rose Pharmacy a great place to work. Working for us means you can positively impact the health of the local community.

We actively support the growth of our team and motivate them to raise the calibre of our offerings. We work hard to establish a welcoming, professional environment that exudes confidence.

Community and Environment

We encourage engagement with the local community to help us understand their healthcare needs and improve their social well-being. Rose Pharmacy works with the NHS to reduce healthcare risks in the local environment. As a result, we have been successful in significantly reducing the occurrence of used hypodermic needles in our neighbourhood and reducing the medicine waste entering the future environment for our children.

Confidentiality

The dynamic nature of information technology introduces challenges to confidentiality that requires ongoing staff training and a culture that is sensitive to these issues. Our regulators independently monitor our operations and ability to keep your information secure.

Regulation

We understand the need for regulation to maintain a standard of service that instils confidence in all our stakeholders and the quality of care to our clients. Therefore, we are subject to inspection and accountable to:

General Pharmaceutical Council: For upholding standards and public trust in pharmacy

NHS England:  Accountability for NHS contracted services.

MHRA: Regulation of medicines and medical devices.

Environment

We are committed to protecting our environment and reducing our carbon footprint. Our waste medicine collection service involves the safe destruction of this to protect our surroundings.
